Parking On The Street

In efforts to maintain compliance with the legally binding Windsor Glen Protective Covenants that govern the community and its members. The HOA request that all homeowners including their family members or guest should utilize their garage and driveway at all times to park their vehicles. If it is necessary to park your vehicle on the street for a short duration of time, make sure the vehicle is parked in front of your house and pointed in the direction with the flow of traffic. Vehicles may be parked on the street on an occasional basis only.
Please be considerate of your neighbors when you must park on the street. The streets and Cull-de-Sacs are not designated as an additional parking space, they are reserved for the purpose of entering or exiting the neighborhood and each front yard space belongs to a homeowner. (Be a courteous homeowner or guest).
AS A SAFETY CONCERN:
* VEHICLES PARKED ON THE STREET MAY IMPEDE THE PROPER FLOW OF TRAFFIC OR OBSTRUCT THE VIEW OF NEIGHBORING HOMEOWNERS FROM ENTRANCE OR EXIT OF THEIR DRIVEWAY.
* IT MAY CAUSE A DELAY FOR EMT FIRST RESPONDER, FIRE TRUCK OR AMBULANCE TO REACH THEIR DESTINATION PROMPLY FOR HOMEOWNER EMERGENCIES.
* ADULTS & CHILDREN WHO ARE WALKING THEIR DOGS, RIDING A BIKE OR JOGGING MAY NOT BE SEEN BEHIND A VEHICLE PARKED ON THE STREET.
AS A COURTESY TO NEIGHBORS:
* VEHICLES SHOULD NOT BE PARKED IN FRONT OF NEIGHBORS PROPERTY, AS THIS MAY BECOME A HINDRANCE OR NUISANCE.
HOMEOWNER INVESTMENT:
* VEHICLES PARKED ON THE STREET DETRACTS FROM THE BEAUTY AND ENJOYMENT OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND MAY DECREASE PROPERTY VALUES.
USPS DELIVERY OF MAIL:
* VEHICLES THAT OBSTRUCT ACCESS TO A MAILBOX OR FIRE HYDRANT ARE IN VIOLATION OF COBB COUNTY ORDINANCES. THE US POSTAL CARRIER WILL NOT DELIVER MAIL IF THE MAILBOX IS BLOCKED.
